Network Uptime Isn't Wishful Thinking
Rackspace knows that every second your network is down you're losing opportunities, revenue and user confidence. With that in mind, we’ve designed our systems to give our customers consistent “uptime” while creating aggressive Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to demonstrate how much we believe in our architecture.
Our Network:
- Operates exclusively for customers' hosting needs;
- Utilizes high performance bandwidth;
- Ensures the free flow of data and service through redundancy plans and fiber carrier entry procedures;
- Monitors route efficiency and end-user performance via a Proactive Network Management program;
- Uses a Cisco co-developed configuration to guard against shared network level and/or VLAN failure; and
- Continually improves with help from Cisco and Arbor Networks.
Rackspace guarantees its network will be available 100% of the time in a given month, excluding scheduled maintenance.
Customer Advantages: A credit of 5% of the monthly fee for each 30 minutes of downtime. A credit of up to 100% of the monthly fee for the affected server.
